Riverlea Park Growth Confirmed to Deliver Years 7 to 9

A Confirmed Pathway to Year 9

Xavier College is pleased to confirm that Years 7, 8 and 9 will be delivered at the Riverlea Park Campus as it grows, providing families with greater certainty about the educational pathway available to their children.

Riverlea Park will open in 2027 with Reception to Year 6 and expand by one year level each year, with Year 7 commencing in 2028, Year 8 in 2029 and Year 9 in 2030.

This decision follows continued strong enrolment growth and reflects the confidence families have placed in the vision for Riverlea Park.

As plans for Riverlea Park were initially developed, a range of pathway options were explored to ensure students could continue their Xavier College education while enrolments became established and the campus expanded. The College’s approach has always been to ensure students have access to a comprehensive curriculum and a well-rounded learning experience at every stage of their schooling. Strong enrolment growth now provides the confidence to confirm that Years 7, 8 and 9 will be delivered at Riverlea Park.

For families, this means students who commence at Riverlea Park will be able to remain at the campus through to Year 9 without needing to transition to another Xavier College campus during these important middle years.

Planning for Senior Secondary

Students will continue to have a guaranteed Xavier College pathway through to Year 12. Should Riverlea Park not yet be delivering Years 10, 11 and 12 when required, students will continue their education at either the Gawler Belt or Two Wells Campus.

Riverlea Park has always been planned as a staged development that grows alongside the community. As enrolment and campus milestones continue to be achieved, future stages of development, including dedicated Middle School and Senior School facilities, will be delivered.

While a decision regarding when delivery of Years 10, 11 and 12 will commence at Riverlea Park will be made closer to the time, the College’s long-term vision remains a complete Reception to Year 12 pathway at the campus. Based on current enrolment growth and the ongoing development of the Riverlea community, the College remains optimistic that the campus will continue to expand in line with students.

We thank families for their ongoing support and confidence in Riverlea Park and look forward to sharing further milestones as the campus continues to take shape.
