OSHC and Bus Services at Riverlea Park

As preparations continue for the opening of Xavier College Riverlea Park in 2027, we are seeking feedback from enrolled families to help inform planning for Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) and College bus services.

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)

Construction of the OSHC facility at Riverlea Park, which forms part of the Stage 1 building, is progressing well and remains on track for completion with the primary school facility.

Before the service can operate, both the campus and the OSHC service must be registered with the Education Standards Board (ESB). This registration process cannot commence until construction of the facilities has been completed. The College is working closely with the ESB to ensure the registration process can be completed as quickly as possible. While every effort is being made to have OSHC available from the first day of the 2027 school year, we are not yet in a position to guarantee an opening date.

As confirmed bookings cannot be accepted until ESB registration has been granted, we are currently gathering Expressions of Interest from families who anticipate requiring the service. This information will assist with planning and help us better understand likely demand.

Completing an Expression of Interest does not guarantee a place in the OSHC program and is not an enrolment application. Once the service has received the necessary approvals and registration is complete, families will be provided with information about the booking and enrolment process.

Families seeking additional information about how OSHC currently operates at Xavier College, including hours of operation, fee information and enrolment processes, are encouraged to visit our OSHC page. Please note that any future Riverlea Park arrangements, including fees and operating procedures, may differ and are subject to change.

College Bus Services

We are also seeking feedback from families regarding potential College bus services.

Information collected through the Bus Services Expression of Interest form will help us understand demand, identify areas where transport may be required, and inform discussions around potential bus routes.

Any transport services introduced will be considered based on community demand and the long-term viability of individual routes. Submitting an Expression of Interest helps us understand demand but does not guarantee that a particular route will be provided.

Families seeking additional information about the College’s current bus services, including existing routes and fee information, are encouraged to visit our Bus Services page. Please note that any future Riverlea Park bus services, including routes, fees and operating arrangements, may differ and are subject to change.
