Xavier College recently welcomed Luka Lesson to the Gawler Belt and Two Wells campuses, where he led an engaging slam poetry workshop for our Year 9 students.

Throughout the sessions, students explored the many forms poetry can take, developing their writing skills and learning how to express ideas with confidence and creativity. Guided by Luka, students crafted their own original poems and had the opportunity to perform them, building both their voice and stage presence.

The workshop was an inspiring experience that encouraged self-expression, creativity, and connection through language. It was wonderful to see students step outside their comfort zones and share their work in such a supportive environment.

We extend our sincere thanks to Luka Lesson for delivering such a dynamic and memorable workshop for our students.
