Year 7 Students Explore the Power of Multimodal Storytelling
Year 7 English students at the Two Wells Campus have been putting their creativity and communication skills to the test, embarking on an exciting task to create their own multimodal informative texts.
As part of their English studies, students have chosen topics they’re passionate about and transformed their research into engaging presentations that combine text, visuals, and audio. The project not only helps them communicate effectively across different media but also encourages clear organisation of ideas and tailoring content for a specific audience.
English teachers say the task is a valuable way for students to refine their critical thinking, research, and editing skills, while exploring how language features can be used to capture and sustain audience interest.
The results have been impressive, showcasing a diverse range of topics and innovative approaches to digital storytelling. Please view various students works below.
