Year 6 Students Lead Catholic Charities Market Day
Our Year 6 students took the lead in hosting the annual Catholic Charities Market Day, transforming the SAMMAT into a lively hub of games, food, face painting, prizes, and more.
Students across the campus joined in the fun by spending tokens purchased beforehand, making the day a true whole-campus effort. The energy and excitement were matched by generosity, with over $2000 raised in support of Catholic Charities SA.
These funds will go directly towards the important work of Catholic Charities SA, which assists organisations such as the Hutt Street Centre, Aboriginal Catholic Ministry, Our Lady of La Vang and St Patrick’s Special Schools, and Centacare Catholic Family Services.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this such a fun and meaningful event, a wonderful example of our students living out the Xavier College values of service and community.
