Our Year 5 students from the Evanston Campus recently returned from an exciting three-day camp at El Shaddai Camping Centre in Wellington, where they experienced adventure, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. The camp offered a wonderful opportunity for students to step outside their comfort zones, try new activities, and enjoy time away together in a beautiful riverside setting.

Across the three days, students took part in a wide range of activities designed to challenge their skills and build resilience. They tackled the rock climbing wall, tested their accuracy in archery, and braved the heights of the rope ladders and giant swing. Laughter and cheers filled the air as students encouraged their classmates, celebrated achievements, and discovered new strengths in themselves.

Throughout the camp, students demonstrated confidence, teamwork, and a willingness to give everything a go. Their positivity and support for one another made the experience truly memorable.

Year 5 Camp is always a significant milestone in the school year, and this year’s group embraced every moment with enthusiasm and joy. It was a fantastic three days of learning, adventure, and personal growth.
