Year 11 Students Engage in Road Awareness Program

Year 11 students recently took part in the Metropolitan Fire Service’s Road Awareness Program (RAP), a powerful presentation highlighting the importance of safe and responsible driving.

Led by Doug and Kim, the session covered the dangers of speeding, distractions, and driving under the influence, while encouraging positive decision-making both as drivers and passengers. A standout moment was the personal story of a road crash survivor, who shared the long-term impact of road trauma. Graphic footage and realistic scenarios added to the program’s emotional impact, prompting reflection and discussion among students.
