Year 1 Students Explore Animal Habitats at Adelaide Zoo

Our Evanston Campus Year 1 students recently enjoyed an exciting day at the Adelaide Zoo as part of their learning about animal habitats.

The excursion gave students the opportunity to explore real-life habitats up close while gathering inspiration for their own classroom projects. As part of their learning, students have been designing habitats for a chosen animal, making the zoo visit a valuable and hands-on experience.

Throughout the day, students encountered a wide variety of animals, including pandas, penguins, tigers, and orangutans, learning more about the environments each species needs to live and thrive.

The visit combined curiosity, creativity, and discovery, helping bring classroom learning to life in a memorable way. We look forward to seeing the amazing habitat projects our Year 1 students create back at school following their rawr-some adventure at the zoo!
