Xavier College Commemorates Remembrance Day 2025
Today, the Xavier College community came together in solemn reflection to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of all those who have served, and continue to serve, in the pursuit of peace.
Across all campuses, students and staff paused for a moment of silence, remembering those who gave their lives for others and reflecting on the enduring importance of peace, gratitude, and compassion.
At the Gawler Belt Campus, students also took part in a symbolic act of remembrance, planting poppies at the entrance of the College as a tribute to the fallen and a gesture of hope for future generations.
As a community of faith, we remain deeply thankful for the freedoms we enjoy and for the bravery of all who have served. We will remember them. Lest we forget.
