Two Wells Campus Celebrates Italian Day in Style

The vibrant sights, sounds and tastes of Italy came to life at Xavier College’s Two Wells Campus yesterday, as students and staff celebrated Italian Day with great enthusiasm and cultural pride.

Dressed in red, white and green, students received festive ribbons and embraced the opportunity to immerse themselves in Italian culture. The day featured a range of traditional activities, including friendly games of briscola, soccer and bocce, sparking excitement and friendly competition across year levels.

One of the highlights of the day was the delicious food—especially the freshly made cannoli, which brought a sweet taste of Italy to the campus and delighted students and staff alike.

Italian Day is a much-loved tradition at Xavier College, offering students the chance to deepen their understanding of different cultures through hands-on experiences, language learning, and fun community celebrations.

It was truly a joyful occasion that captured the spirit of la dolce vita and reflected the College’s ongoing commitment to celebrating cultural diversity in meaningful and memorable ways.
