Students Attend Close the Gap Day
Recently, our First Nations secondary students attended Close the Gap Day at the Adelaide Showground, gathering on Kaurna Yerta alongside community to support improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The event was a powerful celebration of culture, connection, and community, highlighting the collective efforts being made to close the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. Students engaged in a range of activities and experiences that deepened their understanding and strengthened their sense of pride and belonging.
It was a meaningful opportunity for our students to listen, learn, and stand in solidarity with others, supporting a shared vision for a more just and equitable future.
