The new Xavier College campus at Riverlea Park has been thoughtfully designed to do more than accommodate growth – it will inspire it.

Set to open in 2027, Riverlea Park will welcome families into a space that reflects the College’s Catholic and Salesian values and commitment to contemporary education. Every aspect of the masterplan, from the welcoming entrance to the purpose-built learning hubs, has been shaped by a clear vision: to create an environment where students feel known, supported and empowered to learn.

The layout of the campus promotes connection. Learning spaces are open, flexible and filled with natural light. These aren’t just classrooms – they’re spaces for curiosity, collaboration and exploration. Whether students are working independently, engaging in group tasks or sharing their learning with others, the environment will adapt to support them.

The surrounding landscape has been designed with care, encouraging outdoor learning and play while fostering a deep connection to the land. A 300m² Aboriginal cultural heritage trail will be a key feature of the campus grounds, providing students with meaningful opportunities to engage with and reflect on the stories, traditions and history of Australia’s First Nations peoples.

A key feature of the campus will be the shared-use community and sports facility. In partnership with the City of Playford, Xavier College Riverlea Park provides students with access to high-quality district-level sporting infrastructure while also welcoming community groups and local families beyond school hours. It reflects Xavier College’s commitment to being an active, engaged presence in the Riverlea Park community, building strong connections both within and beyond the school gates.

Starting as a Reception to Year 6 campus, and expanding through to Year 12, Riverlea Park will grow with its students. The design allows for staged development that responds to the needs of each age group as the campus evolves. From early learners discovering the joy of school, to senior students preparing for their next steps, each stage of education has been considered.
