Reception Students Explore Faith and Tradition Through Special Excursion

Our Reception students from the Evanston and Two Wells campuses enjoyed a special faith-filled excursion to St Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Gawler Belt Campus Chapel.

Throughout the visit, students explored the history of the church, learnt about important Catholic symbols, and discovered the meaning behind many of the features found within sacred spaces. The experience provided a valuable opportunity for our youngest learners to deepen their understanding of faith and tradition in an engaging and hands-on way.

Students also visited the Gawler Belt Campus Chapel, where they admired the beautiful stained glass window and continued their learning about the significance of sacred spaces within the Catholic faith.

Adding to the excitement of the day, Reception students spent time with our Year 12 students, enjoying games and building connections across year levels. The excursion was a meaningful and memorable experience, combining faith, learning, and community for our youngest students.
