National Simultaneous Storytime Day

Students at our Evanston and Two Wells campuses joined over two million children across the country in celebrating National Simultaneous Storytime—a much-loved annual event that brings young readers together to enjoy the magic of a shared story.

This year’s featured book, The Truck Cat by Deborah Frenkel and illustrated by Danny Snell, is a heartwarming tale that explores themes of belonging, identity, and finding home in unexpected places. With its rich illustrations and moving narrative, The Truck Cat captured the imaginations of students and educators alike.

At our Two Wells campus, students were treated to a special visit from Ty of Paws and Claws, who brought the story to life during a memorable reading session for our Early Years students. Thank you, Ty, for being part of the experience!

With 2,204,658 participants across the nation, National Simultaneous Storytime once again highlighted the power of books to connect, inspire, and spark a lifelong love of reading.
