Music Students Performance Supports Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea
Gawler Belt Music students recently participated in a community outreach excursion, performing at a residential village in support of the Cancer Council’s Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser. This annual event raises vital funds for cancer research, support, and prevention. The students presented a varied musical program, including vocal and instrumental performances, for the residents and guests attending the morning tea.
Their repertoire featured a mix of classic tunes and contemporary favourites, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere. Students had their audience singing along to their favourite tunes and dancing by the end! This excursion not only supported a worthy cause but also gave students valuable experience in performing for a live audience in a community setting. It was a rewarding and inspiring event for all involved.
