The Evanston Campus came alive with the colours of green, white, and red as students celebrated all things Italian in a fun and immersive day of cultural learning.

Students took part in a variety of engaging activities that highlighted the richness of Italian language and culture. They learned traditional Italian dance in lively workshops, explored famous cities and landmarks through interactive virtual reality experiences, and rolled up their sleeves in hands-on cooking sessions making Sicilian “S” cookies, cannoli filling, and pizzas.

To finish off the festivities, everyone enjoyed a delicious gelato treat, the perfect way to end a day filled with energy, laughter, and Italian flavour.

The celebrations were a wonderful display of culture, creativity, and community spirit, and a joyful reminder of the fun that comes with learning languages at Xavier College.
