Evanston Receptions Visit Gawler Belt for Faith Formation
Our Evanston Campus Reception students recently embarked on a memorable day of exploration, visiting both Sts Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church and the Gawler Belt Campus.
At the church, students were warmly welcomed by Fr Sefo, who introduced them to the sacred space and shared the rich symbolism and meaning behind its key features. The experience continued at Gawler Belt, where Mr Watson spoke to the children about the College’s Catholic identity. The highlight for many was the Chapel’s beautiful stained-glass windows, which left students in awe.
The day concluded with a special visit to the agricultural area, where Mr E and a group of senior students introduced the Reception children to the newest members of the campus—dairy calves! The students had the opportunity to meet, feed, and learn about the animals, creating lasting memories and fostering connections across year levels.
It was a joyful day filled with learning, wonder, and community spirit.
