Evanston Campus has Wild Encounters

It’s been an exciting week of animal adventures for students at the Evanston Campus, with opportunities to meet and learn about some of Australia’s most fascinating creatures.

Our Reception classes enjoyed a fantastic day at Gorge Wildlife Park, where they met koalas, snakes, tortoises, and many other native animals. The visit gave students the chance to observe these incredible creatures up close while learning more about their habitats and behaviours.

Meanwhile, our Year 4 students had a wild day in the library when Wilbur’s Wildlife brought the experience to them. Led by Cale, students met some amazing animals including Kermit the tree frog, Glen the brush-tailed bettong, Bandit the bearded dragon, and Neville the python. The session was full of excitement, fun facts, and plenty of brave hands eager to get involved!

A huge thank you to Cale from Wilbur’s Wildlife and the Gorge Wildlife Park team for inspiring curiosity, building confidence, and helping our students connect with Australia’s incredible wildlife in such a memorable way.
