The College community gathered across all campuses today to observe Ash Wednesday, marking the formal commencement of the Lenten season. Through a series of solemn prayer services, students and staff joined together to begin this sacred forty-day period of preparation leading toward the Easter celebration.

During the services, participants received ashes as a physical symbol of their commitment to the traditional pillars of prayer, fasting, and reflection. This significant ritual serves as a collective reminder of the call to repent and believe in the Gospel, encouraging every individual to seek forgiveness and dedicate themselves to meaningful personal growth.

As a Catholic school, the College views this period as an essential spiritual journey that continues from today through to the conclusion of Holy Week. The season provides a structured opportunity for the community to keep their hearts focused on spiritual preparation and renewal. By walking together with open hearts, the community strives to embody their best selves through dedicated service to others.
