de Sales Claims Bosco Cup
The spirit of achievement was high today as our Gawler Belt Campus hosted its annual Academic Assembly. The event served as a dual celebration: honoring academic milestones of 2025 and officially commissioning the student leadership team for 2026.
The assembly provided a meaningful opportunity to welcome back members of the Class of 2025. These returning graduates were recognised for their outstanding ATAR results, serving as an inspiration to current students. Alongside these graduates, the College celebrated the Dux of each year level.
The energy in the room peaked with the highly anticipated announcement of the House shields. Following a year of spirited competition and participation, de Sales House was officially crowned the winner of the 2025 Bosco Cup. The victory was met with thunderous applause, marking a significant milestone in the House’s history.
While the assembly focused on high achievement, Head of Campus, Adam Lewis, grounded the celebration with a message of personal growth. Addressing the student body, Mr Lewis reminded everyone that ‘doing your personal best matters more than being the best’. He encouraged students to embrace a mindset of progress over perfection as they navigate the 2026 academic year.
The ceremony also looked toward the future with the formal introduction of the 2026 Student Leaders. These individuals will carry the torch of the College’s values as they lead their peers through the coming year.
The College extends its warmest congratulations to de Sales House and to every student recognised today for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence.
