Xavier College was honoured to welcome Dan Gavin, an LFC Academy Coach visiting all the way from Liverpool, England, along with Rob Davey, General Manager of Liverpool FC International Academy Australia, and Kevin Grima, the Academy’s Technical Director.

Dan oversees Liverpool’s International Academies across Asia and Australia, and his visit marked his first-ever trip to South Australia, an incredible opportunity for our students to learn from one of the best in the game.

Students participated in a special training session and Q&A, gaining valuable insight into what it takes to succeed both on and off the pitch. The session focused not only on technical football skills but also on teamwork, resilience, and the mindset that defines Liverpool’s world-renowned culture.

It was an inspiring experience for all involved, and we thank Dan, Rob, and Kevin for sharing their expertise and passion with our Xavier community.
