Year 9 Students Share Their Stories with Young Readers

Our Year 9 students from the Gawler Belt Campus visited the Evanston Campus to share the children’s books they created as part of their Creative Writing unit in English.

After spending time developing and illustrating their own stories, students had the opportunity to read their books to Year 1 students, bringing their characters, adventures, and imaginative worlds to life for an eager audience.

The visit provided a wonderful opportunity for Year 9 students to showcase their creativity and communication skills while inspiring a love of reading among the younger students. It also fostered meaningful connections between students across our campuses, creating a positive and engaging learning experience for everyone involved.

We thank our talented Year 9 authors and enthusiastic Year 1 listeners for making the day such a memorable celebration of storytelling, creativity, and community.
