Congratulations to our Gawler Belt Campus students, who proudly helped Xavier College secure the 2026 Fr Dennis Handley Cup.

The annual Handley Cup is a cherished tradition celebrating the shared Salesian heritage of St Mark’s and Xavier College. Named in honour of Fr Dennis Handley, whose passion for sport and community left a lasting legacy across both schools, the event continues to bring students together through friendly competition and camaraderie.

This year, Xavier College claimed victories in junior and senior football, soccer and hockey, along with two of the six netball matches, securing the overall Handley Cup title. Well done to all students who participated, demonstrating outstanding teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the day. A sincere thank you to St Mark’s for being such respectful competitors and helping make the event a fantastic celebration of the values that unite our schools.
