Year 11 Tourism Students Explore Hahndorf
Our Year 11 Tourism students recently visited Hahndorf as part of their studies into the tourism industry in South Australia.
The excursion provided students with the opportunity to explore one of the state’s most well-known tourist destinations, investigating its rich heritage, local businesses, and the experiences offered to visitors. Through observation and discussion, students examined how Hahndorf attracts tourists and maintains its popularity as a key destination.
Students also considered the broader economic impact of tourism, analysing how local businesses and attractions contribute to the sustainability and growth of the industry within South Australia.
The visit was a valuable real-world learning experience, allowing students to apply their classroom knowledge and gain deeper insight into the factors that shape successful tourism destinations.
