We are a Catholic co-educational secondary school located north of Adelaide, just outside the regional town of Gawler, the gateway to the Barossa Valley.
It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to our community.
The College was opened in 1995 in the tradition of the Salesian Order. The Salesians are a Congregation of the Catholic Church that have been involved in teaching and youth work in every part of the world for over 150 years and pass on to the College their ethos and rich tradition in the education of young people. In keeping with this tradition
we are inspired by the example of St John Bosco and strive to be a community committed to the holistic development of each student in an atmosphere of reasonableness and kindness.
We use the Hebrew word RUAH, which means ‘Spirit of God’, as an acronym to express the core values of the College
ffection and H
umour. These values shape a learning environment which is relational and joyfully celebrates the unique gifts and talents of every student.
It is a community of faith that encourages every student to enhance their understanding of the world in which they live, seek to meaningfully contribute to the betterment of society and simply be the best person they can be.
Thank you for visiting our website and we encourage you to seek a closer engagement with our school community.
